Swim Winchester is a not-for-profit organization formed by residents to design, build and maintain an all-season community swimming center in partnership with the Town of Winchester. This public/private development model envisions a membership-based facility operating on town land, and incorporating swim programs for the public schools. The new 26,000 sf facility will include multiple pools, fitness and movement studios, a community gathering space and promote recreation and wellness activities for all age groups. MDS has supported Swim Winchester since 2015 in evaluating potential sites, developing cost estimates and conceptual options, and continues to support the organization as its new community swimming facility becomes closer to fruition.
